Doha, Qatar, May 29, 2018: Qatar Leadership Academy (QLA), a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), recently graduated its 11th cohort at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). Brigadier staff Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Director of the QLA, praised the graduates in his speech during the ceremony, which was attended by Pre-University Education higher management, the students and their families.

Al Kuwari said: “Qatar Leadership Academy is based on strong principles and noble values, with the most important feature being the pursuit of success. I would like to thank Qatar Foundation and the Qatar Armed Forces, who have fully supported the Academy, as well as the Internal Security Force - Lekhweia, - and all those who have contributed to our success.”

Al Kuwari noted that QLA students earned top ranks in various religious, cultural, and sports competitions locally and internationally, and excelled in Holy Qur’an memorization competitions, school debates, and rowing events, in addition to their active participation in national, social, and heritage-related events. QLA also won first place in the nationwide academic excellence competition for private schools.

Speaking to the graduates, Al Kuwari said: “You are beginning a new life with great hopes and responsibilities, a life full of new experiences and new challenges. Do not look at these challenges as barriers to your future. Rather, seek the support and guidance of the Almighty and follow the teachings of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

“Science dispels darkness, and you as scholars are the heirs of the prophets and the messengers of knowledge for a better future. Qatar has given you the best and deserves to receive the best from you, and I am confident that you will never stop being the best in every field for your beloved country,” he concluded.

Seif Hani, the student with highest academic grades, noted in his speech that the students’ achievements were the result of Allah’s guidance, as well as the leadership and academic programs at Qatar Leadership Academy that blend creativity in learning with the latest educational resources and teaching methods.
